She is an active leader in breast cancer and research in healthcare informatics. Dr. Patt has responsibility for breast cancer research in Austin and leads our multidisciplinary tumor boards for breast cancer. As an expert in healthcare policy, she has testified before Congress to protect access to care for Medicare beneficiaries. She chairs the Council on Legislation for the Texas Medical Association and works to formulate responsible healthcare policy that improves the health of Texans. Her research is in clinical decision support, predictive analytics, telemedicine, HEOR, tools for patient symptom management and quality improvement.
