Oncology

Lyn Reed
Oncology SIG Co-Chair

Ken Salehi
Oncology SIG Co-Chair

The AAPL Oncology special interest group serves as a valuable space for liaisons and liaison leaders to connect with their peers, share best, practices, and be supported with innovative ideas and tools for their roles.

Oncology is a fast-paced dynamic product line within academic medical centers, community hospitals and free-standing centers.  The pharmacy and device industries along with new immunotherapies and clinical trials keep us on our toes. We can’t imagine a better way to spend one hour every other month, than connecting with brilliant liaisons from across the country to discuss what is happening in your market and how this is impacting patient care.

If your focus is Oncology, please consider bringing your valuable voice to the conversation.

AAPL Oncology SIG Meetings are the  3rd Friday of every other month, 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm ET.  The next meeting is Friday, November 21st.

Do you work in a Specialty Area that could benefit from forming an AAPL SIG?

We are excited to announce that we are evaluating the creation of additional Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for AAPL members. These groups aim to foster specialized communities where members can share and exchange ideas, insights, and best practices relevant to their specific fields.

If you belong to a specialty segment or group that you believe would benefit from a dedicated SIG, we would love to hear your suggestions. Your input is invaluable in helping us create communities that serve our members' needs.

We have already received suggestions to develop a Women’s Specialty Care, Orthopedics, and an Ophthalmology SIG and we will share more information soon!

Please email Barbara Hamschin at contactAAPL@gmail.com if you have any other suggestions for Special Interest Groups.
