After practicing as a Registered Nurse, Susan launched a successful career in Pharma sales. With 7 years’ experience as a Practice Liaison, she works for Shady Grove Fertility in Northern Virgina. SGF, a subsidiary of US Fertility, is a nationwide enterprise with 12 practices, 50 locations and 100 physicians. She is the Patient Advocate and developed the Reputation Management program used throughout the practice. Through analysis and identifying trends, she works to implement process improvements.


John Bardzydlo

She left her PT job in 2006 and transitioned into Physician Relations to promote all specialties and ambulatory services directly to the referring physicians in the medical community. In her free time, she loves to play tennis and golf and spend time with her husband and 3 children.

Tatyana earned her Master of Science from University of Maryland and her Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins, both focused on management.


Mark Reed

Mark Reed, CHPA, is currently the Director of Campus Support Operations at City of Hope National Medical Center overseeing Security, Transportation, Parking, Patient Transport, Exterior Management, Waste Management, and other programs. He was previously the Director of Support Services at MLK Jr. Community Healthcare in Los Angeles, CA. Mark spent 15 years working in Law Enforcement at various Federal, State, and local correctional facilities.  Mark was also Honorably Discharged after serving 8 years in the United States Army. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Arizona State University.  Mark is also certified in Homeland Security from Arizona State University and a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator through the International Association Healthcare Security & Safety. Mark is currently the Chair of the Southern California Chapter of IAHSS and previously served as the Chair for the Hospital Association of Southern California Security & Safety Committee, on the IAHSS Foundation Board, IAHSSF Research Committee, and is a current member of the IAHSS Guidelines Committee. Mark was recognized by Campus Safety Magazine as the 2019 Director of the Year and 2020 Security Magazine’s Most Influential. Under Mark’s leadership, the MLKCH Public Safety team was recognized as the 2019 Outstanding Security Team at the OSPAs presented by ASIS and received the 2020 Lindberg Bell Award presented by IAHSS.

Bruce A. Scott, MD
2024-2025 AMA President 
Louisville, Kentucky

Bruce A. Scott, MD, has been a leader in medicine throughout his career—and in June 2023 he was voted president-elect of the American Medical Association. In this role he serves, along with the current president and immediate past president, as a lead spokesperson for the AMA. Concurrently he continues to serve on the AMA Board of Trustees.

In addition to his work with the AMA Board of Trustees, Dr. Scott is a member of the board of directors for Health2047, the AMA’s Silicon Valley-based innovation subsidiary that identifies and funds tech-enabled commercial health care enterprises. In this capacity he is helping shape the future of medicine from yet another fundamentally important perspective and platform.

Prior to this most recent AMA election, Dr. Scott served four years as speaker and four years as vice speaker of the AMA House of Delegates, presiding at the meetings of delegates from every state and specialty as they crafted policies for the medical profession.

Dr. Scott has previously served on the AMA Foundation’s board of directors and as the president of the foundation. He has been president of his county and state medical associations and continues to serve on the boards of the Greater Louisville Medical Society and the Kentucky Medical Association (KMA). As a leader in these associations, he has fought for access to care for vulnerable populations, improvement in public health and reduction of administrative burdens in health care. He was awarded the KMA Distinguished Service Award in 2022 in recognition of his work on behalf of Kentucky’s physicians and patients.

Dr. Scott is passionate about practicing medicine. He is consistently voted by his patients and peers as a “Best  Physician” and “Top Surgeon.” He is the president of his six-physician independent private practice group, medical director of a multispecialty ambulatory surgery center and holds a clinical appointment at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His commitment to change in medicine is grounded in the barriers to care he strives to overcome in his daily practice.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dr. Scott completed his medical education and residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Subsequently he returned to his hometown of Louisville, Ky., to practice. He is board-certified in both otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery.

An author of myriad articles for peer-reviewed publications, as well as chapters in otolaryngology textbooks, Dr. Scott also speaks to physician audiences around the country on topics ranging from leadership and advocacy to sinusitis and clinical documentation. Dr. Scott has been happily married for over 30 years and is the proud father of three young adults.
