Scot Ackerman, MD Ackerman Cancer Center
Scot Ackerman, M.D., Board Certified in Radiation Oncology, is the Medical Director of Ackerman Cancer Center and is an honorary Fellow of the American College of Radiology. After completing his training at Columbia University in New York City, he came to Jacksonville and has been in private practice for more than 35 years, serving as an integral force in Florida’s fight against cancer. He held the position of Chief of Radiation Oncology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center prior to opening Ackerman Cancer Center in 1997.
Currently, Dr. Ackerman oversees the Ackerman Cancer Foundation and is a board member of WeCare Jacksonville. He was appointed to the Florida Board of Medicine by Governor Ron Desantis and also works alongside the First Lady of Florida, Casey Desantis, on the Florida Cancer Connect Collaborative.

Amanda S. Lochrie, PhD, MBA, has been a dedicated leader at Nemours since joining as a Pediatric Psychology Fellow in 2002, transitioning to the faculty in 2003 and now serving as Chief of the Division of Psychology within the Department of Pediatrics for the past decade and is the Interim Chair, Department of Pediatrics . She has spearheaded several clinical and research initiatives centering around enhancing clinical care and improving access to mental health services for children.
Her leadership in addressing gaps in care has been transformative. She has used philanthropy and a Health Resources and Services Administration grant to expand telemental health services to underserved communities across Florida, including Central Florida and rural areas. Dr. Lochrie also directs the PATH program, co-leads the ADAPT program, and has significantly contributed to the Pediatric Psychology Fellowship program, helping to shape future leaders in pediatric mental health. Her efforts were recognized with the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award.
A graduate of the University of Kansas with a PhD in child psychology and an internship at the University of Florida, Dr. Lochrie has demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing pediatric mental health. She completed her MBA from the University of Massachusetts in May 2025.

Raymond Pak, M.D., is a physician in the Department of Urology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He has an expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic, robotic and endoscopic surgery. He specializes in urologic cancers (prostate, kidney, ureter and bladder), obstructions (ureter), voiding dysfunction from BPH and kidney stone disease.
Dr. Pak received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Pharmacy degrees from Rutgers University, followed by a medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency in general surgery and urologic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He then pursued fellowship training in minimally invasive oncology and stone surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining the faculty of Mayo Clinic Florida, he served as the medical director of robotic surgery for Jenkins Clinic and Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia where he also obtained an MBA from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech College of Engineering and Emory School of Medicine. His research interests are focused on the application of technology to deliver better surgical and medical care to patients.
Dr. Pak has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and abstracts. In addition, he has travelled internationally to present his work. Dr. Pak is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
