What We’re Looking for in Presentations
We’re seeking a diverse mix of topics and voices that reflect the breadth and depth of the Physician Liaison profession. Ideal sessions include actionable insights, engaging formats, and opportunities for participant interaction.
We welcome submissions that explore:

- Navigating the evolving healthcare landscape

- Data-driven decision-making and CRM best practices

Program Tracks
This year’s sessions will be organized around three key tracks designed to reflect where Physician Liaisons are headed next:
Track 1: Liaison Best Practices
Practical skills and tools to elevate outreach, relationship-building, and field success.
Sample topics:
  - Effective communication and trust-building with providers
- Outreach 101: Foundations for new liaisons
- Safety, scheduling, and time management in the field
- Physician onboarding and engagement strategies
Track 2: Career Development & Leadership
Supporting professional growth, leadership skills, and team management.

- Navigating tough conversations
- Demonstrating value to leadership
- Building your personal and professional brand
Track 3: Strategy, Business Development & Growth
Exploring the strategic side of liaison work and how it aligns with system growth.
Sample topics:
  - Integrating business development and operations
- Using data, CRM tools, and AI for smarter outreach
- Expanding physician networks and partnerships
- Translating strategy into measurable outcomes
Diverse Perspectives Welcome
We value submissions from all experience levels and organizational settings, from academic medical centers and community hospitals to children’s hospitals and independent medical groups. AAPL is committed to highlighting diverse perspectives that reflect the wide range of experiences within our profession.
Audience Considerations
When preparing your proposal, clearly define your intended audience (New Liaisons, Experienced Liaisons, Manager/Director). For general sessions and panels, please ensure your presentation is relevant to a broad mix of attendees, including varying skill levels, institutional backgrounds, and career stages.
Interactive sessions and workshops are strongly encouraged!
Accepted presenters will receive a $100 discount off of your registration. Details will be shared in the presenter confirmation letters.
