The Membership Committee defines and communicates benefits of membership, helps to identify areas of growth for AAPL membership, acts as a resource for other committees regarding membership issues or ideas, and makes recommendations for amendments to the AAPL bylaws.
Mentorship Committee / Liaison Connect
The Mentorship Committee / Liaison Connect is aimed at bringing together liaisons from all types of organizations and all levels of experience. It pairs experienced physician liaisons with those new to their role.
Program and Regional Meeting Planning Committee
The Program and Regional Meeting Planning Committee is responsible for assisting with and planning for the AAPL annual conference and regional networking meetings and will assist in recruiting speakers.
Social Media / Communications Committee
The purpose of the Social Media Committee is to help serve, maintain, and grow the AAPL social media communities (currently LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instgram) by encouraging participation and sharing of information helpful to physician liaisons. Committee members who are regular users of social media are especially encouraged to serve on this committee. Posting and sharing relevant content is a primary responsibility of members.
The Webinar Committee provides leadership for the annual webinar series. This is accomplished by developing proposed topics, identifying speakers, contacting speakers if needed, and analyzing feedback from webinar surveys.
